Only one more day to go before shooting started so today was all about admin and getting ready for tomorrow. The team marched over to the entry office and picked up the bulging packs of squadding before meeting some really friendly US Army soldiers whilst getting our triggers weighed.

We had originally planned for a peaceful day however a sighting of some jet-skis on the lake on the way back to the hotel was far too tempting! We kitted up in swimming shorts and buoyancy aids before climbing aboard a jet-ski and setting off around Lake Erie. Paul and Euan were first on with Jack and Tom and unsurprisingly races between them started with Paul and Euan the victors. A few near misses and several pairs of lost sunglasses later, we left to go back to the hotel and get a shower in before getting takeaway pizza in the hotel. Not quite the peaceful day we had intended as pretty much most of the team were nursing sore muscles after the jet-skiing!

It was an early night for all of us as an 06.30 start on the range to get squadded in on Saturday left us with only 6 hours sleep after picking up our new shiny ammunition from the ammo wallahs (Lee & Chloe).
