Another day dawned in sunny Port Clinton and a slightly later start than usual meant the team could have a swim and get some sleep. Coach and Adj headed off to the range to run some quick errands before meeting up with the rest of the team at the Best Western ready to set sail to Monsoon Lagoon.
Mini-golf and go-karting was on the menu today and after having a quick lunch, we were raring to get into the golf karts. Jack, Tom, Seth and Euan set off and immediately the racing head was on a with battles between Seth and Tom and the slightly tardier Euan and Jack. The rest of the team then headed out with Liam managing to carve his way through most of the field and the Adj and the Captain going all out against each other lap after lap with Adj just edging the Captain out before she T-boned Henry’s cart right on the second to last corner!

The mini-golf started out as an intense competition between rooms but by about the third hole it descended into who could hit the ball in the most unique way and who could get round the course in the least amount of time. Seth pulled off an extraordinary feat of hitting the ball backwards, with his eyes shut and still managing a hole-in-one! However I think we can safely say we’re better at shooting than golf!

On returning to the hotel we unpacked team kit bags and packed all our shooting equipment and rifles into our brand new stash! Excitement levels are brimming before the start of shooting on Saturday. After certain team members had finished slathering on aftersun on burnt shoulders the majority headed to dinner at Crosswinds where the team were made to feel very welcome as the owner provided free drinks after learning we were the GB U25 team! This dinner was also a particularly notable occasion as long-time vegetarian Amie was finally converted back to sanity by an enormous beef burger! T-1 until shooting starts!! #LoveToTour #VeeBull
